Born on 8 March 1997, the Scottish forward Kevin Nisbet primarily plays as a striker for Aberdeen, donning the number 9 jersey. At 5ft 10in (1.8m) in height and weighing in at 12st 1lb (77kg), Nisbet is a commanding presence at the front and has also represented the Scotland national team. His current market value is approximately £2m, according to Transfermarkt. His contract with Aberdeen is quickly winding down with only one month left and is set to expire on 31 May 2025.
He began his professional journey in the world of football in July 2014 with East Stirlingshire in the Lowland League of Scotland, putting up a solid show of six goals in 11 first team appearances in his debut season. A year later, Nisbet transferred to Partick Thistle in the Championship league, but his star seemed to fade a bit with only 17 appearances over three seasons.
A series of loan and transfer moves followed over the next few years. In August 2016, he was loaned to Ayr United, where he netted two goals in 20 appearances. After returning to Partick Thistle, Nisbet had another loan spell, this time with Dumbarton, in 2018. Later that year, he transferred to Raith Rovers and then moved on to Dunfermline Athletic in 2019.
In July 2020, Nisbet made a notable transfer from Dunfermline Athletic to Hibernian in the Premiership of Scotland for a fee of around £250,000. He seemed to come into his own at Hibernian, scoring 31 goals across three seasons, culminating in a high-profile move to Millwall in the English Championship for around £2m in July 2023. His time at Millwall was brief, and, in the present season of 2024-2025, Nisbet found himself on loan at Aberdeen in Scotland's Premiership, where he appears to be enjoying his football, scoring 11 goals in 32 appearances.
Alongside his exploits in the league, he also made his mark in multiple cups and international competitions. Nisbet participated in the 2024 - 2025 League Cup for Aberdeen and the Scottish Cup, netting a goal and two goals respectively. He also earned a cap in the Euro Qualifiers 2022 - 2024 for Scotland.
