Kevin Nisbet, born on 8 March 1997, is a Scottish-born football forward who currently plays for Aberdeen, primarily as a striker. Standing tall at 5 ft 10 in (1.8m), he weighs in at 12 st 1 lb (77kg), and he also holds the distinction of having represented the Scottish national team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value hovers around £2m.
In July 2014, Nisbet began his football journey with East Stirlingshire, a club in the Lowland League in Scotland. During his debut season of 2014-2015, Nisbet scored six goals in 11 first team league appearances. Following his stint at East Stirlingshire, Nisbet transferred to the Scottish Championship club, Partick Thistle, in July 2015 where he made a total of 17 first team appearances over the next three seasons.
Nisbet had a brief stint at Ayr United during the 2016-2017 season, courtesy of a loan out from Partick Thistle. In his run there, he made 20 league appearances and netted two goals. Following the culmination of his loan term, Nisbet returned to Partick Thistle. A subsequent loan to Dumbarton in League Two during 2018 also forms part of Nisbet's football journey.
In July 2018, Nisbet moved on to join Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship. A year later, a transfer led him to Dunfermline Athletic, where he played for the season of 2019-2020. Nisbet then became part of Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership by July 2020, for a transfer fee close to the tune of £250k. It was in these seasons – 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023, during which he bagged 31 league goals in 78 appearances, that Nisbet truly flourished.
Eventually, Nisbet made his way to Millwall in the English Championship in July 2023 for a transfer fee in the region of £2m. However, his two-season stint at Millwall was punctuated by a loan spell at Aberdeen, during the 2024-2025 season. Presently, as of the 2025-2026 season, Nisbet is at Aberdeen, having transferred from Millwall for an undisclosed fee.
Nisbet's successes have also extended to the Scottish Cup 2024-2025, playing for Aberdeen, where he scored two goals in four starts, and one substitute appearance. Additionally, he represented Scotland in the Euro Qualifiers of 2022-2024, making one substitute appearance.
