Justin de Haas, born on 1 February 2000 (age 26), is a Dutch central defender now with Valencia. At 6ft 4in (1.94m), he is an imposing presence, which is generally a useful starting point for a centre-half rather than a complete job description.
His career has been shaped above all by Famalicao. Across three seasons there he made 82 league appearances and scored eight league goals, with his strongest attacking return coming in 2025–26, when he scored five times in 31 league matches. For a defender, that is enough of a set-piece threat to be noted without getting carried away.
De Haas has since moved on to Valencia, where he has made one LaLiga appearance in 2026–27. His market value is around £2.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
At this stage, he is best viewed as a developing Dutch defender whose senior record is still anchored in his Famalicao spell, with Valencia the next step in the career.
