The young Frenchman Julien Vetro, born 23 April 2004 (now aged 20), has already exhibited some footwork finesse as a forward on the football field, predominantly in the position of a striker. Currently, he dribbles the ball for Dundee, sporting the number 47 on his kit. His physical attributes include a stature of 5ft 10in (1.78m) and a weight of 11st (70kg).
As it stands, Vetro carries an estimated market value of around £212,500, a figure provided by Transfermarkt. He currently has six months remaining on his contract with Dundee, which is due for expiry on the 30th of June, 2025.
Vetro kickstarted his professional career by joining Bordeaux in the French Championnat National in July 2020. Throughout his inaugural season in 2023-2024 with Bordeaux, he was given the opportunity to step onto the pitch and prove his mettle 13 times, even managing to secure a goal in these league matches.
However, Vetro's tenure in France was short-lived as he was transferred to the Championship team Burnley in England just a month after the commencement of the 2024 season. But his metier failed to root in England; within the same month, he was on the move again, loaned this time to Dundee in the Premiership north of the border in Scotland.
As of the current season, 2024-2025, in Scotland with Dundee, Vetro has made a humble five appearances on the team, yet to make substantial waves. He made his debut in the League Cup 2024-2025 for Dundee as a substitute, marking another small step in his burgeoning career.
