Julian Eskesen, born in Denmark on 16th March 1999, now aged 26, is a midfielder presently contracted to Dundee United where he's mandated with the number 10 jersey. He's primarily positioned as a central midfielder, standing at approximately 5ft 8in (1.75m) tall and weighing around 10st 9lb (68kg).
Commencing his career at Odense BK, in his home nation of Denmark, Eskesen made his debut in the 2017-2018 season where he had the opportunity to make three appearances for the first team. In the subsequent footballing year (2018-2019), he was able to add a further 19 performances to his tally. However, Eskesen's pitch time saw a sharp decline during the 2019-2020 season when he managed a mere five appearances for Odense BK.
Following this stint, he shifted to Sonderjyske, also in Denmark. During the same 2019-2020 season, he mustered five appearances. He fared better in the 2020-2021 season where he notched up 32 first team appearances. In the 2021-2022 season, the numbers reduced slightly with Eskesen managing to make just 13 appearances.
2022 saw a change of scenery for our Mr Eskesen, as he ventured north to Haugesund in Norway. He turned things around as he stamped his mark on the pitch 26 times and managed to find the back of the net on three occasions. The following year was relatively quieter with him making 20 appearances and scoring a lone goal. However, the 2024 season reprised the form from his first year at Haugesund, with Eskesen making 26 appearances and netting thrice. He's currently in the 2025 campaign with Haugesund and already has 13 appearances and a goal to his name.
The 2025-2026 season sees him currently contracted to Dundee United in Scotland. Unfortunately, Eskesen has not yet been able to feature for the Terrors in the first team. He has, however, been utilised once as a substitute for their League Cup campaign.
