Josip Mišić, born on 28 June 1994 (age 32), is a Croatian central defensive midfielder now well established at Dinamo Zagreb. He is valued at around £2m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career took on sharper definition during his loan spell at PAOK, where the 2019-20 league season was his most productive in front of goal: five goals in 26 appearances. For a midfielder whose main work is usually more controlled than showy, that was a useful marker rather than a reinvention.
At Dinamo Zagreb he has become a steady first-team presence, operating in the middle of the pitch with the sort of role that tends to be noticed most when it is missing. In 2025-26, he has made 42 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice, including 31 HNL appearances and 10 in the Europa League.
Mišić’s career has been shaped by a solid spell abroad, a productive period at PAOK, and a sustained place in Dinamo Zagreb’s side. He remains a regular part of their midfield rather than a peripheral squad option.
