Josip Juranović, a professional football player hailing from Croatia, was born on the 16th of August 1995, making him 29 years of age now. Primarily a defender, he comfortably slots into the position of a right back for Union Berlin. The agile footballer has a height of 5ft 8in (1.75m) and carries a weight of approximately 10st 9lb (68kg). He strides onto the pitch adorned with the jersey bearing the number 18.
Reflecting upon his career, during March 2015, Juranović was recruited by Hajduk Split in the HNL in Croatia as a trainee. According to his first season (2014 - 2015) record at Hajduk Split, he graced the field for six first team appearances in league matches. Progressively enhancing his performance, in season 2015 - 2016, he made 31 first team appearances and also managed to net a goal. Season 2016 - 2017 witnessed him making his presence known in 19 first team league matches.
In July 2020, a significant turning point arose for Juranović as he transferred from Hajduk Split in the HNL in Croatia to Legia Warsaw in the Ekstraklasa in Poland for around £360k. His inaugural session (2020 - 2021) with Legia Warsaw recorded 26 first team appearances and a goal to his credit. The subsequent season, Juranović graced the field for two first team matches.
In August 2021, another transfer was on the cards for him, and he moved from Legia Warsaw in Poland to Celtic in the Premiership in Scotland with a transfer fee summing up to approximately £2.5m. This season (2021 - 2022) at Celtic saw Juranović in 26 first team appearances and netting three goals. The following season (2022 - 2023) at Celtic witnessed Jurmanović making ten first team appearances and scoring one goal.
Now it seems Juranović is no stranger to change, as in January 2023 he transferred from Celtic in the Scottish Premiership to Union Berlin, a Bundesliga club in Germany with about £7.5m changing hands. By Season 2022 - 2023, he was able to participate in Union Berlin's 12 first team matches and scored two goals. The 2023 - 2024 season saw him make 21 first team appearances. For the current season 2024 - 2025, Juranović has already made seven first team appearances in league matches.
