Joshua Zimmerman, born on the 23rd of May 2001 (now 24 years of age) in the Netherlands, plies his trade primarily as a right winger for Livingston FC back here in Scotland. Standing at 5ft 11in tall (1.82m), and tipping the scales at 11st 9lb (74kg), Zimmerman, dressed in the ever-present number 29 jersey, isn't easy to miss on the football pitch. Furthermore, he's no stranger to international football, often spanning the globe to represent the Curacao national team.
Currently, the market appears to value Zimmerman at approximately Β£300k, based on recent figures provided by Transfermarkt.
Zimmerman started his professional football journey in the Eerste Divisie in the Netherlands at Almere City. After his debut season for them in 2021-22, he managed to clock up seven appearances for the first team in league matches.
By July 2022, Zimmerman had decided to move on. Next stop, Belgium. He signed with Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the Pro League. A little over a year later, however, he was back in the Netherlands, transferring to TOP Oss in the Eerste Divisie, again, for a fee that remains undisclosed.
TOP Oss became somewhat of a footballing home for Zimmerman. He spent his 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons there, notching up 24 and 34 first-team league appearances respectively, along with hitting the back of the net seven times. As the 2025-26 season dawned, Zimmerman was still at TOP Oss, where he had managed to take to the field twenty times in the league.
It was in January of this 2025-26 season that Zimmerman made his move to Livingston here in the Scottish Premiership, again, for an undisclosed fee. So far, Zimmerman has made four first-team appearances in league matches for his new club.
On the international front, Zimmerman's commitment to Curacao hadn't waned. He took part in the North & Central America World Cup Qualifiers 2024-26, with a substitution appearance. He also made two substitution appearances in the 2025 Gold Cup as part of the Curacao squad.
