Our lad, Josh Reid, was born on 5 March 2002, consequently making him a ripe age of 22. A hard-headed defender and hailed from Scotland, Reid primarily is seen on the football pitch as a left back repping the number 43 for Ross County. A robust lad, Reid stands at five feet ten inches (1.78m) tall and weighs in at just over 11 stones (71kg).
Now, Transfermarkt records Reid's current market value at €200k, to convert it to our humble British pounds, we're looking at around £168k. His current contract with Ross County, bless him, has 1 year and 8 months left before it's due to expire on 31 May 2026.
He's been with Ross County since July 2017, when he joined as a simple trainee. Reid's debut season with Ross County for the 2020-2021 period saw him step up his game on 20 occasions in league matches. He seems to have taken a wee bit of a tumble, having made only 19 appearances in the 2023-2024 season and one mere appearance in the current 2024-2025 season – sure, we're only human after all.
In January 2021, Reid transferred from Ross County to the English Championship side Coventry City, and frankly, they were a bit coy about how much they spent on him. Probably, they just needed some youth and pizzazz in their ageing squad.
However, two years later in January 2023, Reid found himself on the move once more, this charming time around on loan to Stevenage in England's League One. He played one whole match for them and then bid his farewells.
In July 2023, Reid came back home and transferred from Coventry City to Ross County. Clearly, something about the Highlands was pulling him back. As before, Ross County wasn't keen on sharing how much they spent to bring their boy home. Since his prodigal return, Reid made 19 league appearances in the 2023-2024 season. In the running season of 2024-2025, Reid has managed one league appearance.
When it comes to cup football, Reid was involved in the League Cup 2024-2025 for Ross County, with two starts and one substitute appearance. Additionally, he made a cameo substitute appearance in the Scottish Cup 2023-2024 representing Ross County.
