Josh Nisbet, born on 15 June 1999 (age 27), is an Australian centre midfielder with Roda JC. A compact 5ft 3in (1.60m), he has built a career on mobility and persistence rather than anything as quaint as physical dominance.
His career has been shaped above all by Central Coast Mariners. Across six seasons there, Nisbet made 116 league appearances and scored five league goals, giving him the sort of long, steady spell that tends to say more than a burst of fashionable attention.
He later had a productive league season at Ross County in 2024-25, scoring three times in 36 appearances. For a midfielder not primarily judged on goals, that was the best scoring return of his league career.
At Roda JC in 2026-27, Nisbet has made 15 appearances in all competitions, including 12 in the Eerste Divisie, with one goal. It is a career with one clear anchor in Central Coast Mariners, followed by useful spells in Scotland and the Netherlands.
