Josh Nisbet, born on 15 June 1999 (age 27), is an Australian central midfielder now associated with Roda JC. At 5ft 3in (1.60m), he is a compact player in a position where space, touch and timing matter rather more than theatre.
His career has been shaped above all by Central Coast Mariners. Across six seasons there, he made 116 league appearances and scored five league goals, building the kind of long, steady first-team record that tends to say more than any tidy description of his role.
A later spell at Ross County gave him his most productive league campaign. In 2024-25, he scored three goals in 36 league appearances, a useful return from midfield in a side where nobody was likely to be carried for decorative purposes.
