Jordan Smith, a goalkeeper hailing from England, was born on the 8th of December in 1994 and currently represents Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. At the ripe age of 30, he stands at 6ft (1.85m) and weighs a sturdy 11st 9lb (74kg). The number 13 jersey is typically what you'll see him representing on the field.
Before making his way to Scotland, Smith's football career initially took flight in Nottingham Forest, a Premier League club in England, where he started as a trainee back in July 2013. During his first season in 2016-2017, he could be seen participating in 15 league matches while representing the first team. His presence in first team league matches continued to be substantial, with 29 appearances in the 2017-2018 season, though dropping to only two appearances in the 2019-2020 season, and one in the 2020-2021 season.
In an excursion from Nottingham, Smith was loaned to Barnsley, a League One club in England, in November 2018, though he returned to Nottingham upon the completion of his loan in the same month. Smith was again loaned out, this time to Mansfield Town, another League One club in January 2019, though his stay was brief as he returned to Nottingham in June 2019.
In January 2023, Smith made a sideways move, being loaned to Huddersfield Town, in League One. A few months later in July, he made a permanent transfer from Nottingham to Stockport County, another English League One side. However, it was the following year in July 2024 that Smith made his move to Hibernian, marking his first venture outside of England.
Since his move to the Scottish Premier League, Smith has made an impressive contribution to Hibernian. He made 25 appearances in his first season (2024-2025) and has currently made four appearances in the ongoing 2025-2026 season. Besides the league matches, Smith represented Hibernian in the Scottish Cup 2024-2025 with three starts, and also participated in the Europa League Qualifiers (2025-2026) and Conference League Qualifiers (2025-2026) with two and four starts respectively.
