Jordan Smith, born 8 December 1994 in England, currently serves as a goalkeeper for Hibernian FC. At 30 years old, Smith stands at 6 feet tall (1.85m) and tips the scales at 11 stone 9 pounds (74kg). On the pitch, he is most readily identifiable by his number 13 jersey.
Smith began his football career in Nottingham Forest, joining as a trainee in July 2013. Over the course of his debut, 2016-2017, season with Nottingham Forest, he made a promising start with 15 first team appearances in league matches. This momentum carried into the following season where he accumulated 29 first team appearances. However, this trajectory was not to continue unhindered, as his game time noticeably dwindled in the subsequent seasons, with a mere two appearances in the 2019 - 2020 season, and only a solitary appearance in the 2020 - 2021 season.
During his tenure at Nottingham Forest, Smith pursued a brief stint at Barnsley FC in November 2018 on loan, only to return to Nottingham Forest upon completion of his obligation. Similar to his sojourn at Barnsley, Smith explored another opportunity with Mansfield Town in January 2019, once again returning to Nottingham upon the expiration of his loan.
January of 2023 saw Smith once again on the move, this time transferring to Huddersfield Town on loan. By July of the same year, he made a more permanent move from Nottingham Forest to Stockport County. Within a year, in July 2024, Smith bid Stockport County adieu and transferred to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.
His current season, 2024 - 2025, with Hibernian has proven fruitful thus far with 13 first team appearances in league matches. Elsewhere, in the League Cup and Scottish Cup 2024 - 2025, Smith has made one and two starts respectively.
