Jordan Smith, England-born on the 8th of December in 1994, is an eminent footballer who currently wears the number 13 jersey as a goalkeeper for Hibernian, the Premiership outfit based in Scotland. Standing at an imposing height of 6ft (1.85m) and tipping the scales at 11st 9lb (74kg), he presents a formidable barrier between the sticks.
Smith's career unfolded in July 2013 when he joined Nottingham Forest, a Premier League outfit in England, as a trainee. During the course of four seasons (2016 to 2021), he laboured between the posts and made 47 first team appearances in league matches, with the season of 2017 - 2018 as the peak of his time bowing in 29 league appearances.
In November 2018, Smith briefly swapped Sherwood for Barnsley, transferring to the League One team on loan. Following the completion of his loan, he returned to Nottingham Forest, only to be loaned out again to Mansfield Town in January 2019.
January 2023 saw Smith shipped out again, this time to Huddersfield Town, another League One outfit in England. However, the tenacious keeper eventually sought pastures new away from Nottingham Forest, finding a new home with Stockport County in the League One in England come July 2023.
A year later, Smith embarked on his northern journey, transferring in July 2024 to Hibernian. Here, the tall custodian indeed found a stable presence, notching up 25 first team appearances in his debut 2024 - 2025 season, and as of the ongoing 2025 - 2026 campaign, the veteran goalkeeper has already made four first team appearances in league matches.
Interestingly, Smith's experience wasn't confined just to the domestic pitch; he broadened his horizons into European competitions. He participated in the Europa League Qualifiers in the 2025 - 2026 season, with two starts for Hibernian, and also featured in the Conference League Qualifiers in the same season, with four starts for the Scottish outfit.
