Jonjoe Kenny, born in Kirkdale, Liverpool on 15 March 1997 (age 29), is an English right-back now with PAOK. His career was rooted at Everton before Celtic brought him north in February 2021, a move that gave him a brief place in a difficult Celtic season rather than anything more lasting.
After moving on from Everton, Kenny’s most productive league campaign came with Hertha BSC in 2023–24, when he scored three goals in 29 appearances. It was the sort of steady full-back output that keeps a career moving, if not one that invites much theatre.
At PAOK, he wears number 16 and remains primarily used on the right side of defence. In 2026–27, he has made eight appearances across the Super League and European qualifiers, including three in the league. His current market value is around £2m, according to Transfermarkt.
Kenny’s career has taken him from Everton to Celtic, then on to Germany and Greece. For Celtic, he is a short-term signing from an awkward period; for everyone else, he is an established professional full-back with a solid run of clubs behind him.
