Jonathan Meier

Jonathan Meier of Kilmarnock was born on 11 November 1999 (age 26).

Jonathan Meier, born on 11 November 1999 (age 26), is a German left-back with Kilmarnock, where he wears squad number 19.

His early senior football included Bayern München II, with 2017-18 his most productive league season there: one goal in 16 appearances. That is modest enough, but it places him as a player who built his career through regular developmental football rather than any sudden leap into the spotlight.

At Kilmarnock in 2026-27, Meier has made one league appearance and one League Cup appearance. His form this season has been solid, though he has been out of the matchday squad in recent weeks. His last appearance came in Kilmarnock’s 4-0 defeat to Dundee United on 29 August 2026.

Meier’s career so far is that of an established professional left-back, moving from German reserve football to the Scottish game and working for minutes at Rugby Park.
