Joel van den Berg, born in the Netherlands on 11 February 2007 (age 19), is a centre midfielder whose senior football has been built almost entirely at Jong PSV. His market value is around £1.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
Across four seasons with Jong PSV, he has made 37 league appearances and scored 11 league goals. The 2025–26 season was his most productive, with seven goals in 26 league games – decent output from midfield, rather than the sort of thing that needs dressing up.
He has started 2026–27 with three Eerste Divisie appearances and two goals for Jong PSV. He was linked with a move to Celtic in August 2026.
