Joseph 'Joe' Wright, born on 26 February 1995 in England, is a robust central defender currently plying his trade for Kilmarnock FC. Wright's professional football journey began in earnest in July 2012 when he joined Huddersfield Town in England's League One. Following his time at Huddersfield, Wright further cut his teeth in the English footballing pyramid with a loan move to League Two side Accrington Stanley in July 2015. The 2015 - 2016 season saw Wright feature prominently for Stanley, making an impressive 20 first team appearances in league matches.
His stint at Accrington Stanley was followed by a transfer to Doncaster Rovers, another League Two side in England, in July 2016.
