Born on the 13th of February 2002 (23), João Marques Vieira Freitas, more commonly referred to as João Marques, is a football forward from Portugal who normally operates as a left-winger for SC Braga. He stands approximately 5ft 10in tall (1.79m) and weighs around 11st 9lb (74kg). You will usually see Marques donning the number 33 jersey on the pitch.

Marques’ career took a significant step forward in July 2021 when he signed for the Liga Portugal team, Estoril. In July 2024, Marques secured a move from Estoril to fellow Liga Portugal side, SC Braga, for a deal around £3m.
