Jeremy Toljan, born in Stuttgart on 8 August 1994 (age 32), is a German right-back whose career has been shaped less by one dramatic breakthrough than by a long, steady body of work at Sassuolo.
He emerged at 1899 Hoffenheim, where his 2015-16 league season brought 18 appearances and one goal. That early Bundesliga grounding earned him a move to Borussia Dortmund, though it was a period of loans rather than permanence that helped move his career on.
