Born on the 8th of August in 1994, German defender Jeremy Toljan, now aged 31, currently plies his trade in the Spanish LaLiga for Levante, where he can most commonly be seen occupying the right back position. Standing at 5ft 11in (1.82m) and weighing in at 11st 13lb (76kg), Toljan cuts a rather decent figure and typically dons the number 22 jersey.
The footballer's current market standing is valued at approximately £2m, a fact elucidated by Transfermarkt.
Toljan's illustrious career began in earnest when he joined the German club, 1899 Hoffenheim, in July 2011. His first season saw him make ten appearances in senior league games, a number that has steadily increased over the seasons. After a few years of honing his skills and contributing greatly to the squad, Toljan switched allegiance in August 2017 and joined the ranks of Borussia Dortmund for a fee of £4.5m.
January 2019 would see Toljan venture beyond the borders of his homeland for the first time in his career. The player was loaned out to the Scottish Premiership side Celtic. Despite his brief stint in green and white, Toljan left a strong impression with his solid, if not game-changing, performances during his ten league appearances for the Hoops.
After his time at Celtic, Toljan was once again loaned out, this time to Sassuolo in Italy's Serie A, in July 2019. A year later, the deal was made permanent, with the Italian side shelling out a sum of around £3.2m. His time in Italy was rather fruitful, with plenty of appearances and a handful of goals to his name over the course of six seasons.
After his spell in Italy, Toljan made the move to Spain, signing with Levante in July 2025. Currently, in the 2025 - 2026 season, he has made a promising start with two first team appearances and a goal.
