Jeremy Bokila, born 14th November 1988 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is a 36 year old forward who primarily plays as a striker for Livingston. The 6 foot 1 inch (1.87m) tall striker, who tips the scales at 12 stone 3 pounds (78 kg), can be recognised on the pitch by his number 18 jersey. His current market value is around a modest £86,000, a figure reported by Transfermarkt.
Bokila kicked off his professional football career in July 2007 with AGOVV Apeldoorn in the Netherlands, where he chalked up 32 appearances and seven goals in his debut season. This would set the tone for his time at AGOVV, with Bokila consistently contributing goals to the team's efforts. After several years spent there developing his craft, he moved on to Zulte Waregem in Belgium's Pro League in June 2010. His service there was short-lived, with just two seasons and two goals under his belt before a loan spell at Sparta Rotterdam beckoned.
In 2012 Bokila transferred on loan to Petrolul Ploieşti in Romania's Liga I, followed by a permanent deal with Russian Premier League outfit Akhmat Grozny in 2013 for a cool £1.2 million. His time at Akhmat mirrored his past experiences, a steady stream of appearances and a few goals to his name over two seasons. His next move was East to Guangzhou City in China in July 2015 for the same fee of £1.2 million, where he again showcased his knack for making regular first team appearances and netted four goals in his sole season.
After a flurry of loans and transfers over the next few years, taking in Turkey, Qatar, and Romania, Bokila solidified his place at Turkish club Akhisar Belediyespor in 2017. Fast forward to September 2019, and we find him plying his trade at Hatayspor in Turkey's 1. Lig, before moving north to Ankara Keçiörengücü in January 2020. He briefly tasted football in Belgium and the US, before currently settling in at Livingston in Scotland from July 2025, where he has proven his mettle with nine appearances and three goals so far this season.
Throughout his career, Bokila has demonstrated his worth as a reliable striker, consistently getting game time and adding goals where he can. Most recently, he graced the pitch in the League Cup 2025-2026 for Livingston, where he made a single appearance as a substitute.
