Jakub Moder, born on 4 July 1999 in Poland, is a midfielder known for his adeptness in the central midfield position, currently playing for Feyenoord. Bending the scale at 6ft 2in (1.88m) and 12st 3lb (78kg), he cuts quite a formidable figure in his number 7 jersey. He's also earned his stripes playing for the Poland national team.
At present, his market value hovers around the £10.5m mark, this figure being cited from Transfermarkt. He started his professional journey with Lech Poznan in Poland's Ekstraklasa in 2014, initially joining the training camp.
During his initial season with Lech Poznan (2017-2018), Moder made a single first team appearance in league matches. However, his subsequent seasons saw a marked increase in involvement. In the 2019-2020 season, he made 26 appearances and scored five goals, and the following season saw him notch up 14 appearances and four goals.
His next stint saw him loaned out to Odra Opole in Poland's III Liga in July 2018, only to return to Lech Poznan a year later after the loan spell ended. In the 2020-2021 season at Lech Poznan, Moder had an impressive 14 first team appearances, netting four goals in league matches.
Come January 2021, Moder transferred from Lech Poznan to Brighton & Hove Albion in England's Premier League for a fee in the neighbourhood of £6m. At Brighton, he made a decent 12 appearances in his debut season (2020-2021), with an increased involvement in the next season that saw him making 28 appearances. The subsequent seasons, however, saw a reduction in his appearances.
In January 2025, Moder was transferred from Brighton & Hove Albion to Netherlands' top-flight team Feyenoord for a fee of about £1.2m. In his debut season, Moder made 14 appearances and scored three goals for Feyenoord. Until the current season (2025 - 2026) however, he has yet been unable to mark his presence, with no first team appearances to his name.
Moder also had some international duty under his belt; with appearances in World Cup Qualifiers Europe 2024 - 2026, Euro 2024, Euro Qualifiers 2022 - 2024, and Nations League 2024 - 2025 for Poland.
