Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, born 11 April 2005 (age 21), is an English central defender whose first senior steps came at Manchester City. His 2024-25 league season there brought two appearances, enough to put him on the first-team map without suggesting the story had settled.
Celtic came into it in August 2025, when he joined from Manchester City. It was an early Scottish turn in a career that has since been shaped more clearly elsewhere. He later moved on to Cologne, where the greater share of his senior football has been played.
At Cologne, Simpson-Pusey has made 14 league appearances across two seasons, including three Bundesliga appearances in 2026-27. His current market value is around £5m, according to Transfermarkt.
