Born on the 22nd of August, 2000, Innes Cameron is a Scottish footballer plying his trade primarily as a forward for Kilmarnock. Of decent height and build, standing at 6ft 2in (1.9m) and weighing 12st 8lb (80kg), Cameron is a notable presence in the attacking third.
Cameron's professional journey began in July 2016 when he joined Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership. During his debut season (2016-2017), he was given the opportunity to make two first team appearances in league matches, he made three appearances the following season. Despite a dip in game time with only one match during the 2019-2020 season, his appearances increased significantly to 16 in the 2022-2023 season. During this period, he managed to make a scoring contribution with a goal in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons. As of the current 2024-2025 term, he has made 15 appearances and added a single goal to his tally.
September 2018 saw Cameron transferred on loan to Stranraer in League Two. Although he returned to Kilmarnock in June 2019, his career would be characterised by several such moves. A loan stint to Ayr United in the Championship came in October 2020, ending in January 2021. The same month saw another temporary move, this time to Alloa Athletic in League One. The loan ended in June 2021, marking a brief return to Kilmarnock.
Another loan move was on the cards for Cameron in September 2021, this time to Queen of the South in League One. After a brief return at Kilmarnock in January 2022, he was loaned back out to Queen of the South with the loan period ending in June 2022.
Apart from his league commitments, Cameron has made his mark in the Conference League Qualifiers 2024-2025 for Kilmarnock, making a substitute appearance. Throughout his career, Cameron has shown his ability to adapt to new challenges, with a consistent run of games at Kilmarnock and various loan spells further developing his potential as a professional footballer.
