Harry Paton, born on the 23rd of May 1998, hails from Canada and is now 26 years old. He currently plies his trade as a midfielder for the Scottish side, Motherwell, where he primarily operates in a central role and dons the number 12 jersey. His physical attributes include being 5ft 8in tall (or 1.75 meters for our continental friends) and tipping the scales at 11st (or 70kgs).
At present, his market value is estimated to be around £230k, courtesy of Transfermarkt. Paton's time with Motherwell is, however, expected to be short-lived, with his contract slated to run out on 31 May 2025. Time is of the essence, with just 8 months left.
His Scottish career kicked off during the 2017 - 2018 season, at football club Stenhousemuir, during which he made 17 first team appearances and netted three goals. The subsequent seasons saw Paton at Ross County, making decent progress. His record shows first team appearances increasing year by year, with a total of 85 appearances culminating in the 2021 - 2022 season.
From season 2022 - 2023, Paton's form, unfortunately, takes a dip. His transfer to Motherwell in the same season finds him with diminished first team appearances, tallying only seven. The 2023 - 2024 season marginally improved, where Paton scored twice in 26 outings. Disappointingly, at the time of writing in the 2024 - 2025 season, he is yet to step onto the pitch for a first team appearance.
On a brighter note, Paton's record in cup competitions gives a glimmer of hope. He earned three starts in the League Cup 2024 - 2025 and two starts in the Scottish Cup 2023 - 2024, both for Motherwell. Motherwell faithful would hope that Paton regains his form soon and contributes substantially to the squad's endeavours in the Scottish Premiership.
