Hannibal Mejbri, born on 21 January 2003 (age 23), is a Tunisia international central midfielder whose senior career has settled most firmly at Burnley.
His most productive league season came at Birmingham City in 2022-2023, where he made 38 appearances and scored once. That spell gave him regular football and a clearer senior platform, rather than the stop-start rhythm that often follows young midfielders around.
Burnley have provided the main body of his career so far. Across three seasons he has made 64 league appearances and scored two league goals, with his role built more around energy and midfield coverage than end product. In 2025-2026, though, he has yet to appear in the league for Burnley, with his club involvement limited to cup football.
Internationally, he has remained involved with Tunisia. This season he has made one World Cup appearance and six African qualifying appearances, scoring once, alongside four Africa Cup of Nations outings.
Mejbriโs career is still developing, but Burnley are plainly where most of his senior football has been played. Birmingham gave him a useful early run; Burnley have given the career its shape.
