Gvidas Gineitis is a Lithuanian central midfielder, born on 15 April 2004 (age 22), whose senior career has been shaped almost entirely at Torino. He wears the No 66 shirt and has become a regular part of their first-team picture rather than a youngster hanging around the edges.
Torino have given him the platform and the minutes. Across five seasons, he has made 76 league appearances and scored three league goals, with his most productive campaign coming in 2024-25 when he scored three times in 30 league games. That is the spell that gives his career its shape.
In 2025-26, Gineitis remained involved: 29 Serie A appearances, two in the Coppa Italia, and 31 matches in all competitions for Torino without a goal. His current market value is around £4.5m, according to Transfermarkt. He was linked with a move to Celtic in July 2026 while still at Torino.
He has also carried that club progress into international football, making eight World Cup qualifying appearances for Lithuania this season and scoring three goals. For now, Gineitis is a developing midfielder with a solid Torino foundation and a growing role for his country.
