The Brazilian footballer known as 'Biel', full name 'Biel' Teixeira Aragão, was born on April 1st, 2001 making him a spry 24 years old. Known for his skills as a forward, primarily on the left wing, he currently plays in his home country for Atletico Mineiro. Standing around 1.69m (5ft 6in), coupled with a solid weight of 61kg (9st 8lb), he has the physical attributes to maintain his presence on the field.
At the tender age of 17, back in January 2018, Biel launched his professional career joining Fluminense as a trainee. Right from his debut season in 2021, he began making waves with 15 first team appearances and a goal to his name in league matches.
In an attempt to widen his footballing horizons, Biel made a loan move to Gremio in April 2022. However, the following year in January, a permanent shift materialised, seeing Biel transferred to Bahia for a modest fee of around £1.5m. His performance at Bahia during 2023 and 2024 saw him make 25 and 26 first team appearances respectively, each season netting five goals in league matches.
Recognising his growing potential, Sporting CP in Portugal acquired Biel in February 2025 for £5m. His 2024/2025 footballing year at Sporting CP was a quiet affair only gracing the field thrice in league matches. However, opportunity knocked again, and a loan move to Atletico Mineiro in Brazil followed in July of the same year.
In the current 2025 season, Biel has made a solitary first team appearance for Atletico Mineiro. His journey thus far speaks of a young, capable player slowly carving his niche in the competitive world of football. Nonetheless, only time will tell the heights 'Biel' Teixeira Aragão will reach in his career.
