Born in Scotland on the 7th of May 1999, Fraser Murray is a forward who primarily operates as a left winger for Kilmarnock. Standing at a solid 6ft tall (1.83m) and weighing 11 stone (70kg), he dons the number 15 jersey.
Murray's career commenced in July 2015, when he joined Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership as a trainee. Despite being in his formative years, he made headway into the first team gradually: only two appearances in league matches during the 2016 -2017 season, the following season was no different with another duo of appearances. By the 2018 - 2019 season, he had tripled his previous outcomes- making six league appearances, and the subsequent 2019 - 2020 season brought forth another seven first team opportunities.
A change of scenery beckoned in September 2020, when Murray was loaned to Dunfermline Athletic in the Championship. However, by July 2021, he had waved goodbye to Hibernian and embraced a fresh start with Kilmarnock in the Premiership. Overnight, he seemed to discover a new lease of life, making 19 league appearances in his first season of 2022 - 2023 at his new club. Although he saw a slight decline with 15 appearances in the 2023 - 2024 season, he has already staked his claim on 18 first team appearances in the current 2024 - 2025 season.
Commitment to Kilmarnock runs deep in Murray's veins. During the 2024 - 2025 League Cup, he made a start for the club. Additionally, he has taken his talents to the Europa League and the Conference League, making two substitute appearances in the qualifiers for both competitions in the 2024- 2025 season.
