Frankie Kent, born on the 21st of November 1995 in England, is a robust and competent defender known for his primary role as a central defender for Hearts. Standing at 6ft 2in (1.88m) and weighing 11st 13lb (76kg), his imposing physicality is complemented by his command of the number 2 jersey.

Kent’s professional journey pitch-side started with his transfer to Colchester United of League Two in England in January 2014. As the seasons wore on, Kent’s pitch time significantly increased, with 26 appearances in the 2015-2016 season and 13 in the 2016-2017 season. Kent's final season with Colchester United, 2017 - 2018, saw him making 27 first team fixtures and scoring his first two goals in league matches.
In July 2019, Kent was transferred to Peterborough United of League One in England for an undisclosed fee.
