Allow me to introduce to you Findlay Curtis, a promising lad born on a blustery day in October 2006. At the tender age of 19, young Findlay hails from our beloved Scotland and, much to the exasperation of many a Celtic connoisseur, dallies as a forward for the Rangers, playing primarily in the left wing dreaming of countless glories. A sturdy bloke for his age, Curtis is a respectable 1.8m (5ft 10in) tall, and lugs around a solid 66kg (10st 5lb) of bone and muscle. He dons the number 52 for the blues, a number whose distinction, or lack thereof, I shall leave to your judgement.
According to an entity referred to as Transfermarkt, which dabbles in the valuation of players like they were at a Sunday market, our Mr.Curtis is apparently worth a paltry sum of about €500k, which by my rough conversion, is some £430,000. Nothing to scoff at, for sure, but let's see where this lad goes.
In his inauguration to the 'big boys' game during the 2024 - 2025 season with the Rangers, Curtis made a grand total of three first team appearances. His passion knew no bounds in the following season, 2025 - 2026, as he tallied up four first team displays and even managed to bag a goal. A start of something grand, perhaps? Or is he another flash in the pan?
Curtis's performance in other tournaments hasn't exactly set the heather afire either. During the League Cup of 2025 - 2026, he eked out one goal in two appearances, both as a substitute. The 2024 - 2025 Scottish Cup saw him being ushered on the field a single time, and his most recent endeavour in the 2025 - 2026 Champions League Qualifiers saw him chalk up one goal from two starts and two appearances from the bench. If you ask me, that's not exactly the stuff of future legends, now, is it?
