Ethan Hamilton, born on 18 October 1998 (age 28), is a Scottish central midfielder whose senior career has come to sit most firmly around Dundee. He wears squad number 48 and is valued at around £340,000 by Transfermarkt.
Before that Dundee spell took shape, Hamilton had a productive league season with Accrington Stanley in 2022-23, scoring twice in 25 appearances. It was a useful return for a midfielder, rather than the sort of record anyone needs to dress up.
At Dundee, he has made 44 league appearances across two seasons, scoring once. In 2026-27 he has added 11 league appearances, along with five League Cup appearances and a goal, and two Scottish Cup appearances and a goal. Across all competitions for Dundee, that season stands at 18 appearances and two goals.
Hamilton’s career is not short of other stops, but Dundee is where the main body of his senior football now sits. He remains an established professional midfielder with a steady role rather than a headline one.
