Emmanuel Gyamfi

In the Premiership 2026-27 campaign Gyamfi, a 22-year-old left back for Aberdeen, has made one appearance as a substitute and has featured once in the Scottish Cup – he is goalless across those recorded matches. That pattern of usage suggests a squad role early in the season with minutes coming primarily from the bench rather than as a regular starter.

Season ratings register a 6.12 average with the highest and lowest both at 6.12 – a uniform rating profile that reflects a very small sample of recorded appearances and indicates consistency in the available match evaluations to date.

Gyamfi's career runs from an initial registration at Schalke 04 in July 2019 through a loan to VVV-Venlo in July 2024 and a permanent move to Aberdeen in July 2025. Across the listed seasons he has modest recorded output, including a single goal in 2025-26, which points to a career still in an early-development phase rather than an established first-team trajectory.

His moves include a loan from Schalke 04 to VVV-Venlo in July 2024 and a fee transfer from Schalke 04 to Aberdeen for €220000 in July 2025; the earlier arrival at Schalke 04 dates to July 2019 with no fee recorded. The July 2025 transfer was a cross-border fee deal into the Scottish Premiership rather than a loan.
