Ege Tıknaz is a Turkish centre midfielder with SC Braga, born on 17 August 2004 (age 22). An imposing 6ft 4in (1.93m), he brings obvious size to the middle of the pitch without that being the whole story. His current market value is around £4.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came at Rio Ave in 2024-25, when he scored four goals in 28 appearances. That gave his senior career a useful shape before the move to Braga, where he has continued to build minutes rather than arrive as a finished article.
In 2026-27, Tıknaz has made seven Liga Portugal appearances, along with six in Conference League qualifying and two more in the Conference League itself. Across all competitions for SC Braga, he has made 15 appearances. He has also been involved with Turkey this season, making two Nations League appearances.
At this stage, Tıknaz’s career is still developing: a tall Turkish midfielder with productive time at Rio Ave behind him, regular involvement at Braga, and early senior international minutes with Turkey.
