Dylan Smith, born on 21 January 2006 (age 20), is a Scottish central defender whose senior career has been shaped overwhelmingly at Ross County. An imposing 6ft 3in (1.90m), he has been around the Dingwall first-team picture from a young age, with his development tied closely to regular exposure there rather than a string of headline moves.
His strongest league involvement came in 2022-23, when he made 13 appearances for Ross County. Across five seasons he has reached 52 league appearances, a decent body of work for a defender still in the early part of his career.
In 2026-27, Smith has made five league appearances for Ross County, as well as five League Cup outings and one in the Scottish Cup. His career to this point is a straightforward one: a tall Scottish centre-half, brought through and used steadily by Ross County, with that club still providing the main thread of his football.
