Dylan Levitt, a proud Welshman birthed on the 17th of November in the year 2000, now at the ripe age of 25, has proven to be a key figure in the heart of midfield, predominantly in a defensive role. Currently residing in the rigorous Scottish Premiership, Levitt plies his trade for Hibernian. Standing at a respectable 1.81m (5ft 11in) and weighing in at a solid 73kg (11st 6lb), the midfielder proudly dons the number 6 jersey.
In what feels like an eternity ago, the bright eyed Levitt began his professional journey with giants Manchester United, joining their youth ranks back in July 2017. The world of Premier League football proved to be a tough stage for a young trainee.
Fast-forward to September 2020, Levitt took his first step away from his United home, transferring on loan to Charlton Athletic, a staple of England's Championship league. By February 2021, Levitt was on the move again, this time securing a loan move to Istra 1961 of the Croatian HNL.
In a move that would shape his career, Levitt found his way to Scotland in August 2021, signing on loan for Dundee United. In his debut season in the Premiership, Levitt made quite the impression, featuring in 25 first-team games and netting an impressive five goals. He continued to impress the following season, featuring 27 times and maintaining his 5 goal tally from the previous season.
In July 2022, Manchester United saw fit to part ways with Levitt permanently, sending him to his loan home of Dundee United for an undisclosed fee. His time at Dundee continued to be fruitful, with the midfielder a consistent presence on the pitch, appearing in 27 games and scoring five goals in the season.
An opportunity at Hibernian presented itself in July 2023, and Levitt couldn't resist. He packed his bags and made the move for a fee of around £300k. His first two seasons for Hibs saw him feature regularly, with a total of 47 appearances and four goals. Currently in the 2025-26 season, Levitt has already made eight league appearances.
Believing in his abilities, Hibernian used him in several cup competitions, including the League Cup 2025-26 where he started once and raked in one substitute appearance, the Europa League Qualifiers 2025-26 where he was handed two starts, as well as in the Conference League Qualifiers 2025-26 where he started all four games. It's clear that Hibernian see the value in Levitt, and we can only imagine what the future holds for this Welsh midfielder in Scottish football.
