Dujon Sterling was born on 24 October 1999 (age 26) and is an English right-back who has built his senior career through the familiar route of promising academy player, loans, and then a more settled run in Scotland.
Those early loan spells mattered. They gave him the sort of first-team football that tends to sort out whether a young defender is simply well-regarded or actually useful. Sterling came through that stage with enough behind him to earn a move to Rangers, where his versatility and athletic profile have made him a regular part of their squad rather than just a development project.
At Rangers, his most productive league season came in 2025-26, when he scored two goals in 14 league appearances. He also picked up a League Cup during his time there, a detail their end will not have been slow to file away.
In 2026-27, Sterling has made six appearances for Rangers across all competitions, including league, League Cup, Scottish Cup, Europa League qualifiers and Europa League football. His role remains that of a useful, established professional – not a headline act, but not someone easily dismissed either.
