Dodi Lukébakio, born on 24 September 1997 (age 29), is a Belgian forward with a career built across Belgium, France, England, Germany, Spain and Portugal. He came through at Anderlecht before early loans helped push him from promise into senior football, with Charleroi in particular giving him the kind of regular exposure young attackers tend to need.
Watford took him to England, but his clearer progress came away from there. A loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf put him properly on the Bundesliga map, and Hertha BSC later gave him his most productive league season. In 2022-2023 he scored 11 goals in 32 league appearances for Hertha, a solid return in a side where attacking comfort was not exactly guaranteed.
After further moves through Sevilla, Lukébakio is now with Benfica, where he remains a regular first-team presence in 2026-2027. He has made eight league appearances and 13 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese club this season, scoring twice in European competition.
He has also stayed involved with Belgium, making three World Cup appearances, two World Cup qualifying appearances and four Nations League appearances this season, with two Nations League goals. His career has not been a straight line, but it has settled into that of an experienced international forward still playing regular club football at a strong level.
