Devis Vásquez, born on the 12th of May in 1998, is a Colombian goalkeeper who's currently plying his trade for Roma in Italy's Serie A. He's a towering figure in goal, standing at 6ft 4in (1.95m) and tipping the scales at 13 stone (83kg). Vásquez can be identified on the pitch by the number 32 on his jersey.
His current market value is estimated to be around £1.3m, as stated by Transfermarkt.
Vásquez's journey to Talismanic Roma began in January 2023, when he made the cross-continental move from Club Guaraní in the Primera División in Paraguay, to AC Milan in Italy's Serie A, for a transfer fee of approximately £470k.
However, his stay with the Italian giants was short-lived. Come August of the same year, he was shipped out on loan to Sheffield Wednesday. The embarking on a stint in England's Championship division saw him make a meagre nine league appearances in the 2023-2024 season.
His temporary relocation to England came to an end in January 2024, resulting in another loan deal, but this time he was to remain in Italy. Vásquez joined Ascoli, a Serie C club, where he enjoyed a marginally better playing time, featuring in ten league matches within the same season.
In July 2024, Vásquez was on the move again, securing another loan deal within Italy. He moved up a division this time to join Empoli in Serie B. The 2024-2025 season proved to be a significant milestone in his career. Vásquez finally got a taste of regular football, worn out as a result of 32 league appearances for the club.
After his prolific period at Empoli, Vásquez transferred to Roma in July 2025. Although he's yet to make a league appearance in the current 2025-2026 season, we can expect that when he does, he'll make full use of the opportunity, relying on his past experiences.
