Dennis Geiger, born on 10 June 1998 (age 28), is a German central midfielder whose senior career has been shaped mainly by his long spell at 1899 Hoffenheim. He is now with NEC Nijmegen, with his market value put at around ÂŁ1.5m by Transfermarkt.
At Hoffenheim, Geiger built the bulk of his record: 125 league appearances and six league goals across eight seasons. His most productive league campaign came in 2017-18, when he scored twice in 21 appearances. For a player operating largely in the central and defensive midfield areas, the story was never going to be about gaudy scoring totals.
His move to NEC Nijmegen has taken him into the Eredivisie, where he has made one league appearance in 2026-27. The broad shape of his career remains clear enough: a German midfielder developed and established at Hoffenheim, now continuing at NEC after a long Bundesliga stretch.
