Undav's voyage into the world of professional football began with a transfer from Havelse of Germany's 3. Liga to Eintracht Braunschweig of the 2. Bundesliga in July 2017, for a concealed sum. The following year, he was on the move again - this time from Eintracht Braunschweig to Meppen in the Oberliga. It was here at Meppen that he first set his strides in the 2018-2019 season, making his presence known over 35 appearances with six goals to his name. He built on these numbers the following season, scoring 17 times across 34 games.
In July 2020, Undav traded the German fields for Belgian pastures, signing with Union Saint-Gilloise in the Pro League. The 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons saw him steadily climb in stature, offering stellar contributions with 17 and 25 goals respectively over consistent first-team appearances. However, his time in Belgium was slated for an abrupt halt as Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion snapped him up in January 2022 for around £6.3m. A decent haul of goals across 22 games signalled his maiden outing in English football.
As the tides of January 2022 ebbed away, Undav found himself back in Belgium - this time on loan at Union Saint-Gilloise. Consistent contributions to their cause saw him notch up 17 and 25 goals over the ensuing seasons. This loan regimen bore completion in June 2022, paving the way for a return to Brighton and Hove Albion. The subsequent season with the English side saw him score five goals across a total of 22 appearances.
August 2023 marked a brief switch for Undav - a loan deal sending him to Stuttgart in the Bundesliga. His journey with Stuttgart extended over three seasons, recording commendable performances with goal tallies of 18, 9 and currently 12 across these seasons. A permanent switch from Brighton & Hove Albion to Stuttgart was finally arranged in August 2024, for a hefty sum of approximately £25m. With Stuttgart, Undav has been instrumental, his performance well-articulated with a number of goals and appearances.
His call of duty has also seen him participate in the DFL-Supercup 2025-2026 for Stuttgart with one start, alongside contributing key performances in the Europa League 2025-2026 for the German side, amassing two goals over six starts and one appearance as a substitute.
