David Watson, a Scottish lad born on the 12th of February 2005, is currently plying his trade as a central midfielder at Kilmarnock. Standing decent at 5ft 10in and tipping the scales at 11st, Watson is a sturdy presence in the heart of the pitch. He sports the number 12 jersey for his club.
In his burgeoning career, Watson has already had a taste of the Scottish Cup competition. Three times he's started, and on the European front, he's notched a goal from a single appearance in the Europa League Qualifiers.
His rookie season at Kilmarnock in the 2022/23 campaign saw him establish a foothold in the first team, making ten appearances. However, it was the following season, 2023/24, that Watson truly started to make his mark. His involvement was significantly ramped up to 36 appearances, netting five goals in the process.
So far in the current 2024/25 season, Watson has yet to feature for Kilmarnock's first team. Whether this is just a lull before another leap forward, time will tell.
