Dan Glazer, born on 20th September 1996 in Israel, is currently a 28-year-old central defensive midfielder plying his trade at Kairat. The midfielder, standing at 5 feet 10 inches (1.78m), and tipping the scales at 10 stones 7lbs (67kg), has also donned the national colours for his homeland, Israel.
The Israeli's football journey began in earnest back in July 2014 when he joined his local Premier League side, Maccabi Tel Aviv, as a promising trainee. He was then subsequently loaned out to Bnei Yehuda, a Liga Leumit team in Israel, in July 2016. After spending a year developing his footballing skills and game understanding, Glazer returned to his parent club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, at the completion of his loan in July 2017.
Remarkably, Glazer stayed with Maccabi Tel Aviv for the next six years. However, In September 2023, he decided to venture out of his comfort zone, leaving Israel's shores and transferring to OFI Crete in the Greek Super League. During his debut season in Greece (2023-2024), the Israeli made a noteworthy 22 first team appearances in league matches.
However, the allure of the Russian Premier League was too much to resist, and Glazer completed a move to Pari Nizhny Novgorod in July 2024 for an undisclosed fee. At Pari Nizhny, Glazer's game time was somewhat limited, making just ten first team appearances during the 2024-2025 season.
Merely six months after coming to Russia, in January 2025, Glazer found himself switching allegiances yet again. He made a move to Kairat, a team playing in Kazakhstan's Premier League. During the current 2025 season, Glazer has thus far made nine first team appearances in league matches.
Glazer's football journey isn't only confined to his club obligations. The Israeli has the experience of playing on a larger stage, having participated in the Euro Qualifiers 2022-2024 for Israel (albeit with two appearances as a substitute). Moreover, he has been instrumental in Kairat's 2025-2026 Champions League Qualifiers campaign, contributing with six starts and one stint as a substitute.
