Conor McMenamin, born on the 24th of August 1995, now aged 29, hails from Northern Ireland. A forward by trade, McMenamin primarily operates on the right wing for St Mirren, standing tall at 6ft (1.83m) and weighing 11st 2lb (71kg). Wearing the number 10 jersey, McMenamin kicked off his professional career in July 2012, signing for N. Ireland Premiership club, Linfield.
His rookie campaign in the 2012 - 2013 season saw him make four first team appearances in league fixtures. This was followed by three appearances in the subsequent 2013 - 2014 season. In July 2015, McMenamin packed his bags again, transferring from Linfield to fellow Premiership side, Glentoran. During the 2015 - 2016 season at Glentoran, McMenamin secured 17 first team caps and netted a solitary goal in league matches. He further maintained his momentum into the 2022 - 2023 season, improving his match involvement to 28 appearances and tallying ten goals.
July 2016 led to another shift in scenery for McMenamin, this time to N. Ireland's First Division club, Warrenpoint Town. His stint in the 2017 - 2018 season saw him make 21 first team appearances and score five goals in league engagements. A move to Cliftonville in the N. Ireland Premiership followed in July 2018 for an undisclosed fee.
Glentoran beckoned once more in January 2021, and McMenamin returned to the fold after a transfer from Cliftonville, also for an undisclosed fee. During the 2015 - 2016 and the 2022 - 2023 seasons at Glentoran, McMenamin's contributions mirrored his earlier stint, making 17 and 28 first team appearances respectively, and scoring 11 goals in total.
The winds of change ushered McMenamin away from N. Ireland in July 2023, leading to a transfer to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership. This move cost St Mirren around £130k and saw McMenamin retain a consistent presence in the 2023 - 2024 season with 27 first team appearances and one goal. In the 2024 - 2025 season, his appearances were pared down to 11, but his scoring frequency increased, binning four goals in fewer matches. As of the current season (2025 - 2026), McMenamin is yet to make his first team debut in league matches at St Mirren.
McMenamin's accolades also include his involvement in the League Cup 2025 - 2026 for St Mirren, with two starts and a run-out as a substitute to his name.
