Conor Hazard, born in Belfast on 5 March 1998 (age 28), is a Northern Ireland goalkeeper with the sort of frame that tends to settle arguments before crosses arrive: a commanding 6ft 6in (1.98m).
He joined Celtic from Cliftonville in July 2015, arriving young and developing around the edges of the first-team picture. His busiest league season at Celtic came in 2020-21, when he made five appearances. It was a useful enough grounding, but not the spell that came to define him.
Hazard left Celtic in July 2023 for Plymouth Argyle, and that move gave his career its clearest shape. Across two seasons at Plymouth he made 52 league appearances, establishing himself far more fully than he had in Glasgow.
He is now with Wycombe Wanderers, where in 2026-27 he has made six League One appearances and one League Cup appearance. He has also been involved with Northern Ireland this season, making one appearance in European World Cup qualifying.
Hazard’s career began with Cliftonville and passed through Celtic, but it has been defined above all by his work at Plymouth before his current spell with Wycombe.
