Conor Hazard, born on the 5th of March 1998 in Northern Ireland, is currently a goalkeeper for Plymouth Argyle. Standing at a towering 6ft 5in (1.98m) and weighing a stable 12st 12lb (82kg), Hazard wears the number 21 jersey. Aside from his club career, he has also earned representative honours for the Northern Ireland national team.
Hazard's journey with Celtic began in July 2015 when he transferred from Cliftonville in the Northern Irish Premiership to Scottish Premiership side Celtic. The fee for this transfer remains undisclosed. It was during the 2020 - 2021 season with Celtic that Hazard was first introduced to the first team, making five appearances in the Premiership.
Hazard was then loaned to different clubs in Scotland over the next few years - Falkirk in January 2018, then back to Celtic in June 2018, followed by another loan to Partick Thistle in January 2019, then back to Celtic in June 2019. Subsequently, he was loaned to Dundee in October 2019, then returned to Celtic in November 2019. In January 2020, he was, once again, loaned to Dundee and returned to Celtic in June 2020. During each of these loan periods, Hazard returned to experience more first team action with Celtic in the 2020 - 2021 season.
In January 2022, Hazard was loaned outside Scotland for the first time, going to HJK in the Veikkausliiga in Finland. At HJK, he earned a significant amount of game time, making 24 appearances in league matches. He returned to Celtic in January 2023, again featuring in their first team during the following season.
In July 2023, Hazard made a permanent move away from Celtic, transferring to Plymouth Argyle in the Championship in England for another undisclosed fee. After making 27 first team appearances in league matches for Plymouth Argyle during the 2023 - 2024 season, he has maintained a sturdy presence in the current 2024 - 2025 season, with 9 appearances so far.
In addition to his club duties, Hazard has been active in domestic cup competitions and international qualifiers. Participating in the FA Cup 2024 - 2025 for Plymouth Argyle with two starts, the League Cup 2024 - 2025 with one start for Plymouth Argyle, as well as Euro Qualifiers 2022 - 2024 for Northern Ireland, where he was chosen to start in three matches.
