Conor Brann, born on 27 June 2003, hails from the revered turf of the Republic of Ireland. This sprightly 22-year-old lad is currently showing off his formidable skills as a goalkeeper for Cork City. Standing at an impressive 6ft 3in (1.93m) and weighing in at about 12st 8lb (80kg), he effortlessly commands a presence in the net.
Unfortunately for Brann's devoted followers at Cork City, time is ticking down rapidly on his current contract. With only five months to run until it extinguishes on 30 November 2025, speculation is undoubtedly rife about his future in the game.
The early stages of Brann’s career saw him rise through the ranks of Galway United. It was here, in the Irish Premier Division, that he honed his skills before earning himself recognition from across the Irish Sea. In September 2022, the call from England became too strong to resist and Brann made the leap to Swindon Town, bidding adieu to the Irish Premier Division.
He would perform in the English League Two for a couple of seasons, whereupon in June 2024, he progressed to another undisclosed team and league. The paper trail of that transfer remains agonisingly elusive, shrouded in the mists of the time that separates us from the summer of 2024.
In the winter of 2025, though, the prodigal son returned home. Brann made the most crucial move of his career, returning to his country of birth to join Cork City in the Irish Premier Division. To his credit, he has slotted effortlessly back into the Irish game, making a significant contribution to the team's form and status within the division.
