Christian Pulišić, born 18 September 1998 (age 27), is an American right winger whose senior career was formed at Borussia Dortmund before moving through Chelsea to AC Milan. His current market value is around £34m, according to Transfermarkt.
He left the United States for Dortmund as a teenager and made his first-team breakthrough in Germany, where the pace of his rise was clear enough without much garnish. The short loan that followed in early 2019 was unusual but useful: Chelsea signed him, then sent him back to Dortmund for the rest of the season. It allowed him to complete that spell in familiar surroundings before the more demanding move to England began.
At Chelsea, Pulišić had moments of real impact, including a part in the club’s 2021 Champions League-winning squad, but the move did not settle into a clean, uninterrupted ascent. He joined AC Milan in 2023 and found a clearer rhythm in Italy. His 2023–24 Serie A season remains his most productive league campaign, with 12 goals in 36 appearances, mainly from the right.
