Charlie Reilly, born on the 5th of December 2001, is a Scottish footballer who, at 23 years old, currently plays as a left winger for Dundee FC. Standing at 5ft 11in (1.81m) and weighing 11st 6lb (73kg), Reilly wears the number 18 jersey for the team. His current market value is around £100k (roughly €100k), according to Transfermarkt. His contract with Dundee is due to end on the 31st of May 2025.
After starting his professional career at Hamilton Academical, Reilly joined Airdrieonians on loan in August 2019, before ultimately returning to Hamilton in January 2020. By October 2020, he transferred to Partick Thistle in the Scottish Championship, before moving on to Albion Rovers in the Scottish Lowland League in July 2021.
Reilly's debut season in 2022 - 2023 at Albion Rovers proved promising; he made 26 first team appearances and scored 18 goals in league matches. His performance seemed to catch the attention of Dundee FC as, in July 2023, they signed the forward. Unfortunately, his 2023 - 2024 season at Dundee saw him make only seven first team appearances in league matches, with no appearances in the following season.
With game time limited, it was decided that Reilly would join Arbroath in the Scottish League One on loan in February 2024. However, after making five first team appearances, he returned to Dundee in June of the same year. After struggling to break into the first team line-up, Reilly was again loaned out, this time to Inverness CT in October 2024, before returning to Dundee for a second time in January 2025. Despite his challenges, he managed to feature in the League Cup 2024 - 2025 for Dundee, making one substitute appearance.
