Cameron Carter-Vickers, born on the 31st December 1997 is now 27 years old. An Englishman by birth, he moulded himself as a defensive stalwart for Celtic Football Club where he primarily features as a central defender, donning the number 20 shirt. Standing at 6-foot, (1.84m) and weighing a hefty 14st 6lb (92kg), Carter-Vickers is not only a formidable figure on the pitch but also one of the ubiquitous names in the United States national team setup.

Carter-Vickers' footballing journey began in the English Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur, in 2009, as a trainee. But the exciting part of the journey started when he was loaned to Sheffield United in England's Championship in August 2017. He made 17 first team appearances and scored one goal in his debut league season. A few months later, in January 2018, Carter-Vickers moved to Ipswich Town, again on loan, where he managed 17 appearances in the league matches for the season 2017-2018.
He moved to Swansea City for the 2018-2019 season, followed by seasons at Stoke City and Luton Town, all whilst on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, before joining Bournemouth, where he made 21 first team appearances and scored once in the English Premier League during his 2020-2021 season.
In August 2021, Carter-Vickers bid farewell to the English Premier League and adventured north to Scotland, signing a loan deal with Celtic Football Club. This move proved to be a turning point in his career as he confidently donned the green and white hoops, impressing both peers and fans alike with his solid defensive performances. Battling tooth and nail for Celtic, Carter-Vickers made a substantial 33 first team appearances in the Premiership, scoring four phenomenal goals in the 2021-2022 season.
His remarkable performances did not go unnoticed. In July 2022, Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic finally sealed the deal, switching his loan to a permanent status for a reported fee of just north of £6m. The consecutive seasons saw the player cement his place in the first team, making a notable number of appearances and scoring goals. To this day, Carter-Vickers is very much part of Celtic's battle-hardened defence, already having 20 first team appearances in the ongoing 2024-2025 season.
