Callum Wilson, hailing from England was born on 27 February 1992, currently 33 years of age. Wilson, a forward primarily assuming the role of a striker, stands tall at 5ft 10in (1.8m) and weighs 10st 7lb (67kg).
In the summer of 2009, Wilson embarked on his footballing journey, appearing as a trainee with Coventry City in the English Championship. His debut season (2010 - 2011) witnessed him make a solitary appearance in first team league matches. Rising through the ranks, Wilson managed 11 appearances and netted one goal in the Championship during the 2012 - 2013 season. The subsequent season saw him establish his presence with 37 appearances and a noteworthy 21 goals to his name.
In what seemed like a somewhat erratic move, Wilson transferred from Coventry City to Kettering Town in the Southern Football League on loan in January 2011. Here, he made 17 appearances and scored once during his stint in the 2010 - 2011 season. Following his tenure at Kettering Town, Wilson returned to Coventry City in June 2011 to press his case for a standard berth in the team.
His loan spell continued, this time moving to Tamworth in the English National League in January 2012. Wilson proved his mettle here as well, scoring once and making three first team appearances in the 2011 - 2012 season.
Upon completion of this loan in March 2012, Wilson once again returned to his parent club, Coventry City. He continued his previous trajectory, making significant contributions to the squad.
In an exciting development, July 2014 saw Wilson switch clubs, moving from Coventry City to Bournemouth in the English Premier League for a sum of £3m. Over the next four seasons, he became a stalwart for the team, amassing a total of 171 first team appearances and 61 goals in league matches. His most prolific stint came in the 2018 - 2019 season where he netted the ball 14 times in 30 appearances.
September 2020 bore witness to another change in Wilson's journey, as he was transferred from Bournemouth to Newcastle United in the Premier League for a substantial £20m. Over the course of the next five seasons, Wilson continued his excellent run of form, with 113 appearances and 47 goals in league matches. He had an excellent 2022 - 2023 season, with 18 goals to his name over 31 appearances.
As of June 2025, Wilson has transferred from Newcastle United in the Premier League, and his new destination and club remain undisclosed at present.
