Callum Penman

Penman has made 7 Championship 2026 - 2027 appearances, starting 4 times and appearing as a substitute 3 times – those numbers mark him as a rotational left back who is used both from the start and off the bench. His most tangible offensive contribution this campaign is a League Cup goal from 5 appearances, while one yellow card in league action points to a relatively low disciplinary count. Overall the figures underline a young defender trusted across league and cup fixtures rather than a nailed-on starter.

Penman is 19 and plays as a left back for Stenhousemuir. His career has involved spells at Arbroath, St Mirren, Queen of the South and Stenhousemuir, with multiple loan moves across 2025–2026 that reflected a pathway of gaining senior minutes through temporary placements. The pattern to date reads as a development trajectory built around short-term moves rather than a settled, permanent spell at a single club.

Penman’s moves are dominated by loans – he moved to Stenhousemuir on loan from St Mirren in July 2026, and earlier temporary spells linked him with Queen of the South and Arbroath across 2025 and 2026. The sequence emphasises short-term placements for development rather than transfers driven by fees or long-term permanency.
