Callum Jones, born 5 April 2001 (age 25), is a Welsh central defensive midfielder whose senior career has been shaped chiefly by Dundee. Wearing squad number 28, he has become most visible there rather than through a trail of smaller stops.
His Dundee record stands at 32 league appearances and two league goals across two seasons. The main body of that came in 2025-26, when he made 27 league appearances and scored once, giving him the sort of steady involvement that tends to define a player’s standing more clearly than any tidy label.
In 2026-27, Jones has added five league appearances and one league goal, along with two League Cup appearances and two Scottish Cup appearances for Dundee. That makes nine appearances and one goal across all competitions for the season.
His current market value is around £255,000, according to Transfermarkt. At this stage, Jones is best understood as an established Dundee first-team player, with his career so far built around regular work in midfield rather than wider noise.
